For companies that proclaim themselves to be green, all facets of the business should reflect that idea. This should be seen from the type of services they provide to product manufacturing and even insurance card and membership card usage by employees. Many companies that strive to be green stop at what they produce and forget about what they actually use in the course of the workday. Given the opportunity, most businesses that are doing their part to protect the environment will opt for green products whenever possible. they may even be able to pass these concepts on to their customers as well without anyone giving it a second thought. Some places that should consider using membership cards that are compostable, recycled, biodegradable or eco-friendly in some other form. To do otherwise would go against the principles of the company.
Restaurants
Many cafes, restaurants and eateries use loyalty cards to encourage their customers to return frequently. After a set number of visits or purchases of a particular sandwich or drink, the customer earns a free one. they do not need to be durable because they usually have a relatively short life span. A dozen cups of coffee can be checked off in a little over two weeks for the person who stops in every day on the way to work. Using recycled, compostable sandwich club cards, for example, will help the customer live a greener lifestyle and the business make a smaller carbon footprint on the environment while they are saving the customer money.

Most people that are concerned with their own health are also concerned with the earth's health as well. Using a membership card rewarding users for frequent purchases only makes sense when they are using an eco-friendly membership card to do it.

Fitness Centers traditionally have a high turnover of customer membership. Many people
make New Year's resolutions in December and January, only to fall off on their dedication by March or April. The renewal rate for memberships is not as high as the new member rate. It is something that can be put in a wallet for use whenever it is needed, but may find itself in the trash can before too long. Using biodegradable health club membership cards is one way for these businesses to help keep the earth healthy, even if the people on it are not exactly cooperating.

Employees that work in green manufacturing or assembly plants should be carrying biodegradable membership cards or employee verification cards not only for security reasons, but for environmentally-friendly ones.
