Finding good food and a friendly atmosphere where I can mingle with friends is important to me. Like most people in and around Austin having a local tavern that serves up our favorites from American and Tex-Mex menus in an environment where we can relax and enjoy the evening is essential to the good times, as the company that is included in the festivities is. Fortunately, like many others I have found a spot that is exactly what I have been looking for in a local bar and grill Austin residents can kick back in.
Serving up barbeque sensations that are the envy of every backyard chef and offering a full range of burgers and other popular fare as well as keeping a well of drinks available to the public, I have found a place that I can enjoy with my wife on a date as easily as I can spend time with my pals knocking back a few brews after catching a game.
On certain special weekends, I like to go down to my hangout and checkout all of the classic cars and street rods that have not been produced in decades. As a car enthusiast it is fun to see all of the different collector items in one place and stop off for a cold beer after being outside in the Texas sun. On the cooler evenings I can sit out on the patio and enjoy the sights and sounds of the boulevard as the classic cars pull away and dream about owning my own fastback '67 Mustang Shelby or '59 Corvette.
I have to admit I have almost given up eating at home because I do like to out where the action is and I can have a variety of food served to me so that I can eat something different every night of the week and never have the same thing twice. While I do not go out every single night of the week I do try to ply my better half with not having to cook a couple of nights a week, which she is usually up for after dealing with work and facing a houseful of chores.
Even when I am helping out with the laundry, or vacuuming the living room I can usually talk her into slipping out for the evening and grabbing a bite at my favorite bar and grill. That way I can be her hero and save her from cleaning up the house while still treating myself to what I want for dinner.
