If anyone can recruit country's biggest stars it's Tim McGraw and his equally talented wife Faith Hill. The couple proved their star power and dedicated to giving back to the country music capital of Nashville, Tenn. on July 22, when they hosted the Nashville Rising Flood Benefit Concert, reports The Boot.
Held at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, the event saw artists from genres across the board-from country and rock to pop and gospel-uniting for a good cause. The benefit helped raise funds for the victims of the floods that devastated the region at the end of May, when the waters of the Cumberland River and local creeks rose to levels that haven't been seen in Music City in some 30 years.
Artists like Toby Keith, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, ZZ Top, Montgomery Gentry, Miranda Lambert, Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley Cyrus, Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Michael W. Smith, Martina McBride, LeAnn Rimes, Julie Roberts, Amy Grant and more turned up for the event. Carrie Underwood took the stage first, earning a standing ovation for her performance of her new single "Undo It" and a medley of "Jesus Take the Wheel" and "How Great Thou Art," setting the precedent for a night full of good music and goodwill.
Oscar winner Sandra Bullock was the surprise guest of the night. After strumming the first few notes of Deep Purple's "Smoke on the Water," Bullock admitted "I can't play!" and introduced McGraw, her Blind Side co-star, saying, "They say a community is only as strong as its weakest link, and from what I've seen here tonight there is no weak link in Nashville. Nashville has taught this country a lesson." After Faith performed "Stronger" and "Piece of My Heart," Tim closed the show with his own hits "Live Like You Were Dying" and "Southern Voice."

McGraw is on tour in support of his 10th and most recent album, Southern Voice, and will be stopping in cities like Burgettstown, Pa.; Camden, N.J.; Bristow, Va.; Hartford, Conn.; Mansfield, Mass.; Raleigh, N.C.; Virginia Beach, Va. and more through September.
Tim McGraw's final U.S. tour date will take place in Dallas, Texas on Sept. 10, when the devout football fan will perform at a dual-celebration show honoring recent Pro Football Hall of Fame member Emmitt Smith and celebrating the Dallas Cowboys' 50th anniversary. McGraw will be the last performer in a three-concert series called "XLV: Live from Cowboy's Stadium." Tim's wife Faith kicked off the concert series in March and rocker Sting performed in May.
After the NFL gig, McGraw will embark upon the Australian leg of his tour and recently told Country Weekly, "We're making a family vacation out of it. I'm also a new pilot, so I've got a plane reserved already and I'm gonna [fly] solo over the outback." No word yet on whether or not Faith approves!
