What type of a person are you? Are you one that is very independent and will go to great lengths to make sure you are doing things for yourself? Do you find yourself burning the midnight hour and early morning hours to accomplish a project if that's what it takes due to not asking anyone else for help? If you are sick will you still push yourself and make sure things are taken care of and refuse to let family or friends know you need help?
Have you been pregnant and found there were things that were very difficult, but you still found a way to do accomplish it? What about moving? Even if you are working full time, have several small children and a major deadline will you still make sure that you pack everything up and load it into the moving truck? Then when you arrive to your new destination you are determined to unload the truck and unpack it. If you are not someone like this do you know people that are like this?
Now let's look at the other side of the coin. Do you know people who call on family and friends for everything? Maybe they don't even just call on family and friends, but they are willing to spend whatever money it takes to get the help that they need. Instead of cleaning their own house they hire someone to clean it for them. If they are sick or just tired they will call family for help or to see if they will bring in meals to them. If they are moving they call a moving company and have them come in and pack everything up and load it. Then they will even have the company move things into their new location.
Both of these might sound a little extreme, but if you were to ask the person who does everything for themselves they will tell you that it is very tiring and hard. Sometimes it feels impossible. Then when you ask those that get help for everything they might tell you it is a little extreme and they could probably do a little more. The one thing that you won't hear them say that is extreme is hiring a moving company to help you move. When you think about all of the other things that need to be done this is a time that it is worth hiring someone to help you and make the move a lot easier and enjoyable. You won't regret it regardless of what type of personality you are.
