It's really amazing how technology has evolved and changes the life of every human being. It makes life lighter to handle but it also made it complicated. Life is complicated per se. Just like what we saw in the movie like star trek, star wars, etc. We are so fascinated on their weapons and how the casts of the movie used them. We wished to have those too way back those times. But look at now, isn't it that the weapons they use is of similar with what we have now

Stun gun is an incapacitant weapon which produces a high voltage, low amperage electrical charge which is enough to disrupt voluntary control of muscles. The target will experience stimulation of motor and sensory nerves which results in strong involuntary muscle contractions. The recipient can be temporarily paralyzed and will be in pain and that will worsen if the shock is applied in sensitive body parts. The upper shoulder, upper hip, and below the rib cage are the most effective target areas. The output current depends on different factors such as skin type, target's resistance, bodily salinity, clothing, moisture, discharge waveform, battery conditions.

This device is widely used in America by police officers and private citizens as well. This is primarily for self-defense purposes only. Manufacturers have warned those carriers of this device that half-second shock duration will cause muscle contractions and intense pain. Target will become dazed and drop to the ground in 2-3 second shock. Greater than three seconds, target would become completely disoriented for at least several seconds. Prolonged and continuous exposure to shock may lead to breathing impairment and cumulative exhaustion.
This is why new models only have a maximum duration of five seconds per trigger. Legality of using a stun gun varies from different countries but it is mostly allowed in many states in America. Other continents such as Europe and Asia and its corresponding countries have restricted the importation and use of stun guns. Only police departments are allowed to carry Stun gun is available in a variety of styles and forms such a knuckle blaster, a cellular phone,
a lot more. The price also depends on the amount of voltage ejected and its accessories. Price ranges from $20 up to $80, it varies from different manufactures.

One of the most famous manufacturers of Stun guns is the TASER company. This device is now made as discreet as possible to make it more effective. Assailants are aware that people might have a security device like stun guns so they are watchful of this device.A security equipment should be handled with utmost care. It may provide you some sense of security but it can be as destructive to yourself as well and to others if used improperly.
