An important part of providing a safe place for employees and customers is non slip coating on floors and other slick surfaces. Any hard surfaces, like tile, porcelain, towel racks, toilets, cabinets, shower and bath fixtures can all cause potential bruises, fractures or bleeding.
Most of the danger in these surfaces can be minimized through preparation or taking precautions. Sometimes the people that are most susceptible to the injuries that can be sustained in these kind of slips and falls are oblivious to the danger. Small children and the elderly can die or suffer fatal injuries much easier than most adults. These risk groups also take less thought before doing something that can be potentially reckless. Think about any small child playing in the bathtub. Even with full adult supervision, they will try to slip and slide all over the tub. This can lead to problems with a child or elderly adult getting out of the bathtub as well.
