One of the most talked-about shows on Broadway has been making its way across the nation, giving fans an earful of some of the hottest tunes from the sixties. Jersey Boys tracks the success of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons and offers fans a glimpse into their incredible rise to the top of the charts. The musical has found success outside of the Big Apple, generating crowds of patrons in cities like Las Vegas, London and Toronto, among others. Check online for more information on upcoming productions and purchase your Jersey Boys tickets for an unforgettable night!

It seemed almost too good to be true and yet the rags to riches tale of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons is one of the music industry's most captivating tales. Follow their climb to the top of the charts when you book your tickets for the Tony Award winning musical Jersey Boys. The aspiring musicians started out as blue-collar boys in Newark, New Jersey before finding success with radio smash hits like "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" and "Oh What a Night." In the beginnings, their eventual stardom seemed unlikely, but as Jersey Boys proves, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons had broad appeal and in no time their records were selling off the shelves.

During the late 1950s, singer Frankie Valli was trying his luck in the music industry and he wasn't finding it. His first commercial release, "My Mother's Eyes," barely received any notice as did follow-up releases with his musical ensemble, which he called The Four Lovers. In fact they were so down on their luck that the band even failed an audition for a lounge gig at a local bowling alley. Instead of walking away with a performance scheduled, they walked away with the alley's name: The Four Seasons. After the name change, they began to see their fortunes change.

The Four Seasons released their first album in 1962, which featured the popular single, "Sherry," which shot straight to the number one spot on the charts. Other follow-up singles included Big Girls Don't Cry," "Walk Like a Man," "Ain't That a Shame" and "Candy Girl."

During the mid-1960s the band switched labels and continued finding spots on the charts with ballads like "Save it For Me," "Bye, Bye, Baby" and "Girl Come Running." The band dominated the decade, always managing to find a spot on the charts and leaving fans wanting to hear more from this American rock band, even in the midst of the Beatlemania craze.

Although they never quite regained the popularity that they enjoyed during the sixties, the Four Seasons have managed to cross generations with their vast catalog of doo-wop hits. In fact, Jersey Boys exposes a whole new group of fans to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Their songs are still radio favorites and their unbelievable rise to the top is one story that will likely be told time and time again. Get your Jersey Boys tickets today!
