Lady Gaga's Fame Kills Tour with Kanye West was scrapped after the rapper's highly publicized interruption of Taylor Swift's acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards, and so she transformed her trek into the Monster Ball Tour. The North American road trip, which Lady Gaga described to Rolling Stone as the "first-ever 'pop electro opera,'" debuted in November 2009. Lady Gaga's Monster Ball tour took off for the second time across the pond on Feb. 18 and proved to be even more dazzling than its first installation.

Manchester, England's MEN Arena was the location for the first date of the European leg of Lady Gaga's Monster Ball Tour, and she sure did show up in style! Would you expect anything less from Lady Gaga? Wearing a striped bodysuit right out of Beetlejuice, Lady Gaga appeared atop a flaming piano and delivered a performance that featured 19 songs, 15 outfit changes and four acts, reports MTV News. Although Lady Gaga endured some technical difficulties, her 23,000 fans (or "little monsters," as she affectionately calls them) were too busy singing along to hits like "LoveGame," "Dance in the Dark" and "Just Dance" to notice.

The 23-year-old pop phenomenon and her staff created the large-scale production in just four weeks! "We were doing another show in the United States," said Lady Gaga to the BBC recently, "But I got very bored, so I threw it away." The production snafus in Manchester included missed lighting cues, off-timing (the show ended 20 minutes later than planned) and poor sound mixing, but none of those elements took away from the show!

Lady Gaga will perform 12 concerts in the U.K. before traveling to Australia and New Zealand for 14 shows in early March. From there, the "Bad Romance" singer will bring her Monster Ball Tour to Japan for four dates and, if her fans in the U.S. have their wishes come true, she will be back in the States after that. If she does, you'll want to get Lady Gaga tickets online before they are all snatched up!

Just before re-launching her Monster Ball Tour, Lady Gaga took home three BRIT Awards for International Breakthrough Act, International Female Solo Artist and International Album (for The Fame). Lady Gaga paid tribute to the late designer and friend Alexander McQueen during her BRIT Awards performance on Feb. 16. Known for always pushing the fashion envelope, Lady Gaga wore a sky-high wig and lace cut-out outfit during her performance, in which she said to the crowd, "Thank you to Lee McQueen." Gaga and the late designer worked together several times, such as in her video for "Bad Romance," in which she wore McQueen's famous "lobster-claw" shoes.

After her three BRIT Award wins, Lady Gaga told BBC Radio 1, "I really did not expect to win all three tonight, or really any at all, so I'm just so excited. Honestly, I'm never the one who wins all the awards, and I have never been the one to feel like the winner my whole life." Lady Gaga might want to get used to being a winner because it looks like she is poised to take home many more awards!
