When you have gone to a social get-together, what things have they served? What about a luncheon or even a wedding reception? What about a school event or a classroom activity? If you have a younger child that plays on a sports team they might hand out little treats or goodies. When you think about these different activities or events what things come to mind as things that are served? You might think about brownies, cake or cookies.

There are different things that can be served and usually it is a variety of things, but if there is one constant with almost every event it would be cookies. If you were to take a poll across America you would quickly learn that cookies are one of the top things that are served at most events.

Now that it is established that cookies are served at most things across America, let's take a look at why cookies are chosen over everything else. There are several reasons, but one of the main reasons is that they are the easiest to do. Some of the other things are that they are less expensive, easy to transport and there is a wide variety. You can feel pretty confident that if you take cookies to an event that you probably won't have exactly the same as someone else. Even if you make or buy the exact same type of cookie, like Chocolate Chip cookies, they all have their own taste and texture.

Now, think about when you are at an event and cookies are served what types of cookies do you choose? Do you go for the chocolate chips or the oatmeal raisin cookies? Do you go for the Oreos or the mint cookies? Besides the flavor of the cookies do you think about whether the cookies are homemade or store-bought? When the event is over which cookies are sure to be gone? Are they the ones that have been sitting on the shelf and peeled open the package or are they the fresh baked cookies?

For most people they go for the fresh-baked cookies. They love the freshness of the cookies. They have a different comfort feeling that the packaged cookies don't have. If you have been asked to bring cookies and you were planning on taking pre-packaged cookies, because you don't have time don't panic.

One of the best things about fresh baked cookies is that they don't have to be baked by you. There are options to get the exact same, fresh taste without you baking them. All you have to do is go to a cookie franchise and smell those cookies baking fresh as you walk in. You can have confidence that they are just as fresh, if not even fresher, than if you would have made them. If your schedule is crazy you might have had to of made them a day earlier and with a cookie franchise they are made the same day that you pick them up.

Cookies are an American staple just like Apple Pie and fresh cookies are the best whether they are made by you or someone else.
