When you have gone to a social get-together, what things have they served? What about a luncheon or even a wedding reception? What about a school event or a classroom activity? Now, think about when you are at an event and cookies are served what types of cookies do you choose? Do you go for the chocolate chips or the oatmeal raisin cookies? Do you go for the Oreos or the mint cookies? Besides the flavor of the cookies do you think about whether the cookies are homemade or store-bought? When the event is over which cookies are sure to be gone? Are they the ones that have been sitting on the shelf and peeled open the package or are they the fresh baked cookies?
For most people they go for the fresh-baked cookies. They love the freshness of the cookies. They have a different comfort feeling that the packaged cookies don't have. If you have been asked to bring cookies and you were planning on taking pre-packaged cookies, because you don't have time don't panic.
One of the best things about fresh baked cookies is that they don't have to be baked by you. There are options to get the exact same, fresh taste without you baking them. All you have to do is go to a cookie franchise and smell those cookies baking fresh as you walk in. You can have confidence that they are just as fresh, if not even fresher, than if you would have made them.
