It can be a very intimidating task to do especially if this is your very first time working on it.
3.) The dissertation is the beginning of the end of your career as a graduate student. After you have written your dissertation and pass the course, this piece of work will be stuck with you for the rest of your life. You will carry this work towards your new career in the field. You can continue to revise the dissertation in the future to update your work. You can think of your work as a wonderful achievement in life, especially when you have lots of scholars who will read your work if it is very important.
4.) You are not obligated to pursue this graduate degree. There are many people who attend graduate school, but not many of them would exit out with a degree. Most people can lead a successful life without having to finish the degree. Just because you did not finish getting the degree does not mean you cannot make great contributions to the things around you.
Remember, there are many people who did not even finish getting a bachelor's degree, and they are making a huge difference in the world. It does not mean a waste of time and money for not finishing the degree, because, you have probably learned abundance of information while you were there before leaving.
