A custom essay is one that you write on behalf of someone else. Perhaps they need an essay for a publication or a presentation, but they either do not want or do not have time to write it themselves. If you are asked to write a custom essay; here are the steps you should take to produce a result that exceeds your customer's expectations.

First of all, you must find out 4 basic things from the person you're writing the custom essay for, and you must follow them faithfully:

1. How many words should it be?
2. Is it a serious or humorous essay?
3. Who is the intended audience?
4. Are there any key words or phrases that must be contained in the essay?

If you are not given a specific title, you will have to come up with one yourself. It should be short, yet informative. It should let your reader know exactly what he or she will be reading about. The title "Growing Tea Roses for Beginners" is far more informative than the title "Tea Roses."

Once you have your title, the next step is to create a brief outline. If you aren't quite sure how many points to include in your custom essay, start with three, plus an introduction and conclusion. Your first outline may look something like this:

1. Introduction to tea roses
2. Best environment for growing tea roses
3. Most popular tea rose varieties
4. How to plant a tea rose
5. Conclusion

Looking over your outline, you may decide it's incomplete, because you don't have anything at all about caring for tea roses once you've planted them. Your revised outline could look like this:

1. Introduction to tea roses
2. Best environment for growing tea roses
3. Most popular tea rose varieties
4. How to plant a tea rose
5. Caring for tea roses
6. Conclusion

Now it's time to start writing. Start your introduction broadly, with an overview statement, perhaps on why people love tea roses. Then, over the course of 100 words or so, narrow your focus to a thesis statement, which goes at the end of the introductory paragraph. This sentence tells what points your essay covers.

Next, write one paragraph about every point on your outline list. Shoot for around 100 words per paragraph. Don't change topics mid-paragraph, and don't repeat yourself. Your concluding paragraph should be an "upside-down" version of your introduction paragraph. Start your conclusion with a rewritten version of your thesis statement. Briefly recap the points you made in your essay.

Finally, end your conclusion (and your essay) with a general statement on the topic, such as, "Tea roses have long been beloved, and it is no wonder, due to their beauty, scent, and easy care."

Before submitting your custom essay, if possible, let it sit overnight and then give it a good edit and proofread the next day. It is easier to find errors if you haven't been looking at a piece for several hours. You can also read your essay aloud to help you identify any awkward sentences you should re-structure. Only after your essay is edited and polished should you submit it to your customer.
