Starting a company that only has a few employees might be tougher than starting a larger corporation for several reasons. Finding employees, even in this climate of high unemployment, might be difficult because people want benefits and a smaller company can not always offer benefits such as health insurance or paid vacation and sick days. Also, being able to stay afloat in this economic climate the first year is very difficult, it does not matter what type of company one is opening because no one is purchasing items, even some essentials.

With these companies, some of them may want a startup company to purchase something, so beware and there is always free advice on the blogs and other places. It is not necessary to purchase something in order to learn how to obtain money for a new business.

Many of these resources are from government agencies that want to see these new companies succeed. They publish as much free info as possible because if a new business opens up, that means more people are working and shopping and spending money. This also means that the economy is bouncing back.
A small business could flourish with the proper planning and the correct steps to make a company a success. Opening a new business in this economy is a scary prospect, however, there are people who have done it and could help an individual through the process. Opening a new business with a certain amount of employees will help everyone, the employees, the economy and the future business owner.
